Ingredients
1 egg
2 tablespoons Water
6 Apples peeled cored and cut into wedges
1/2 cup Sugar
2 tablespoons Corn Starch
1 teaspoon Cinnamon
1 Pie crust 9 Inches
2 tablespoons Butter
Powdered Sugar as Needed
Directions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Mix the egg and the water in a small bowl and hold for later use. Place the apples, sugar, cornstarch and cinnamon into a bowl and mix until fully incorporated. Put your pie crust on to a sheet pan. Place the apple mixture evenly onto the piecrust leaving about a 3 inch border. Fold the edges up onto the apple mixture. Take your egg and water mixture and lightly brush the crust. Put the 2 Tablespoons of butter on top of the apples and place in the oven. Cook for 50-60 minutes or until the crust is golden brown. Remove from heat and let sit for about fifteen minutes, sprinkle with powdered sugar, Serve. Enjoy!
