Ingredients
2 Pie Crusts
6 Granny Smith Apples peeled, cored and sliced into ¼” slices
3/4 cup Sugar
1 teaspoon Cinnamon, ground
1/4 cup Corn Starch
2 tablespoons Butter
Directions
Place your bottom crust into your pie pan and leave about ¾ “ over hanging. Put your apples, sugar, cinnamon and corn starch into a bowl and mix until fully incorporated. Mound the apples into the bottom crust and place the butter on top of the apples. Eggwash the bottom crust the place the top crust on top of the apples. Lightly press the top crust onto the apples. Trim the top crust so it matches the overhang of the bottom crust. Fold the crust under so it is even with the edge of the pie pan. Mold crust to desired shape. Eggwash top crust and place into a 400 degree preheated oven and cook for 60 minutes. Remove from oven and allow to cool. I like to serve this with vanilla ice cream and caramel sauce. Serve, Enjoy!
