Ingredients
1 pound Ground beef lean
1 cup Onions small dice
3 clove Garlic minced
1 Jalapeno pepper roasted small dice
5-6 tablespoons Chef Tomms Taco seasoning or 2 packets of your favorite taco seasoning
1 cup Water
TT Salt and Pepper TT= To Taste
16 ounce Refried beans
8 large Tortillas for burritos
Garnish
1 quart Salsa
16 ounce Sour cream
8 ounce Cheddar cheese
1/4 cup Cilantro chopped
Directions
Place beef into a sautee pan and brown. Add in the onions, garlic, jalapeno and cook until the onions are translucent. Add in the taco seasoning and mix thoroughly then add the water and cook until the sauce gets thick. Season to taste with salt and pepper and let slightly cool.
- Assembly:
Lay out the 8 tortillas and divide the refried beans and meat between them. Roll the tortillas up and place seam side down on a sheet pan. Place them in a 350 degree preheated oven and cook for about 15-20 minutes. Remove from oven and place one on to each plate. Garnish with the Salsa / Pico De Gallo, sour cream, cheddar cheese and cilantro then serve. Enjoy!
