Ingredients
3 large Eggs
1 cup Whole milk
1 teaspoon Sugar
1/8 teaspoon Cinnamon, ground
1 pinch Salt
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
6 slice Challah bread cut 1 inch thick
4 tablespoons Vegetable oil or butter
Directions
In a small bowl place the eggs, milk, sugar, cinnamon, salt, and vanilla extract and mix well. Soak the challah bread in the mixture about 30 seconds per side. Place your oil or butter into a sautee pan and place over medium heat. Cook for about two minutes per side or until golden brown and repeat until all bread is done. Serve with maple syrup and garnish with powdered sugar. Enjoy!
