Ingredients

1 gallon Whole Milk
1/4 cup Yogurt with active cultures

Directions

Method:
Heat milk to 90 degrees and stir in yogurt. Place in a warm spot and let sit overnight. I like to leave mine in the oven with the pilot light on. If you have an electric oven turn the light on and it will keep it warm.
Next Day: The yogurt will be firm. “ If this hasn’t happened you may want to let it sit a bit longer.” The yogurt is ready to be eaten as is but a few more steps need to be added to make it Greek. Carefully ladle the yogurt into a double layer of cheese cloth, hang and let drain for at least 24 hours. Remove from cheese cloth. At first look at it may look dry but whisk it out until it is smooth. Serve with your favorite honey and berries, enjoy!
