Rice Pilaf

Ingredients

2 tablespoons Butter
1/2 cup Onions Small Dice
2 cups Converted or Par Boiled Rice
4 cups Chicken stock
1 teaspoon Salt
1 Bay Leaf

Directions

Place the butter into a sauce pan and put over medium heat.  Add the onions and cook until they turn translucent, about 4 minutes.  Add in the rice and stir covering the rice with the butter.  Add in the chicken stock, salt and bay leaf, bring to a boil then drop down to a simmer.  Cook for about 20 minutes or until the rice becomes light and fluffy.  Do not stir rice during the cooking process as that will make it sticky.  Remove the bay leaf and serve.  Enjoy!
