Ingredients
4 cups All purpose flour
3 tablespoons Baking powder
1/2 teaspoon Baking soda
10 tablespoons Butter
2 cups Buttermilk
Optional for service
6 tablespoons Butter
6 tablespoons Honey
Directions
Preheat oven to 425 degrees. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Add the butter into the dry ingredients and break it up until it is the size of peas. Pour in the buttermilk and mix just until it starts coming together. Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead no more than 5 times. Roll out to about one inch and cut your biscuits. Reroll your scraps and repeat cutting process. Place the biscuits onto a sheet pan with parchment paper so they don’t touch. Bake them for about 15-20 minutes until they are golden brown. Serve, Enjoy!
Optional for service:
In a small sauce pan melt the butter then add the honey. When the biscuits come out of the oven brush on the butter honey mixture!
