Ingredients

3/4 cup Water, warm about 100 degrees
1 teaspoon Instant Yeast or 1 1/2 t dry yeast
1 1/2 teaspoons Sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons Salt
2 tablespoons Yogurt, plain
2 tablespoons Garlic Chopped
2 cups All Purpose flour
1/2 cup Ghee or butter

Directions

Combine the water, yeast, sugar, salt yogurt and garlic in a medium size bowl and mix well. Add the flour to the mixture and knead for a few minutes until the dough is thoroughly mixed. Place it in a medium size greased bowl and cover with plastic wrap and let double in size, about 60 minutes. Punch the dough down and divide into 5 even pieces. Roll each piece out with a rolling pin. This can be in rounds or oval shaped. Place about 2 T of ghee or butter into your sautee pan and place over medium heat. Cook the naan one piece at a time until puffed and lightly browned on both sides. Serve, Enjoy!
